during year modules’ exams. The number of searches performed on the databases also showed a marked increase, taking the past three years into consideration. This could be ascribed to the users’ adoption of electronic resources usage and the subsequent ease of referencing provided by these resources.
9.3 E-resources Full-text downloads
A slight increase in downloading is noticed. This could be ascribed to more electronic reserves items that were linked to the database resources, which in itself is a positive move towards provision of access to electronic content for study purposes. Copyright clearance is noticeably easier if and when database resources were identi ed for this particular service to the students.
