NYAA ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING

The 29th NYAA Annual General Meeting was held on 21 June 2022, with Mr Eugene Seah elected as the
Chairman of the NYAA Council and Mr Bryan Tan as the Deputy Chairman. Two new council members were
also elected. They were Mr Zed Teo Zi-Ming and Mr Tan Yinglan.

Mr John Ting Kang Chung and Dr Derek Goh Bak Heng stepped down as they have served in the NYAA for
over 17 years. However, Mr Viswa Sadasivan and Mr Izzuddin Taherally, who has served for over 15 years, will
continue for another term due to their valuable contributions and specific considerations.

The outgoing Chairman, Mr John Ting, expressed gratitude for the support received during his tenure and
confirmed his commitment to support the NYAA as Chairman of the Fundraising Committee.

Congratulations were extended to the new Chairman, Mr Eugene Seah, who expressed honour and appreciation
for the trust placed in him. The outgoing Chairman, Mr John Ting, and Dr Derek Goh were acknowledged for
their immense contributions and support to the NYAA.

APPRECIATION AND ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS

The NYAA Council thanked various organisations, including Singapore Totalisator Board, Singapore Pools Pte
Ltd, the Lee Foundation, HSBC Singapore, City Developments Limited, Stephen Riady Foundation, Far East
Organizations for their support.

They also thanked the NYAA Advisory Board, NYAA Council members, principals, teachers, NYAA Coordinators,
and the Gold Award Holders’ Alumni for their partnership and support.

Appreciation was extended to the media organisations as well.
