3 Use the same rope’s running end to make the final tuck.
4 Tighten down the knot, leaving short running ends to stick out per-
pendicular to the ropes.
The Zeppelin Bend is very strong and secure when used to join sim-
ilar ropes. It unties easily even after being under great strain.
