3 Thread the running end through the right crossing.
4 To double the knot, bring the running end around the back to the
original start and follow the same pattern, staying next to the cord
you are doubling without crossing over it.
When you tie the Turk’s Head, you are braiding in a circle, so it
helps to rotate it toward you as you proceed.
