2022 - 2025 PACA STRATEGIC PLAN - REIGNITE THE ASSOCIATION
BUILDING AND CONNECTING COMMUNITIES
Mission/Vision
Ignite our membership to elevate PACA as the premier building-materials association and achieve widespread recognition of our industry’s essential role in Pennsylvania communities.
REGULATIONS/SPECIFICATIONS
PACA must continue to emphasize the impact of regulations and specifications on the availability of construction materials, as well as the potential for those materials to drive growth and development for the commonwealth and its stakeholders. Aggregates, ready mixed concrete, and cement are foundational to building a resilient and sustainable future for our communities.
STAFF: SUCCESSION PLANNING
For PACA to continue its path of success and longevity, a short-term and long-term plan for the internal operations of the association needs to be completed.
ADVOCACY/LOBBYING
PACA needs to remain engaged with the General Assembly on many issues—regulatory, codes and standards, safety and health, technical and funding, etc.—through the hard work and support of its lobbyist, government affairs community and PACA PAC contributors.
Grassroots support from the membership is required to advance and protect our industry’s interests.
BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT
PACA supports, defends and promotes ready mixed concrete, aggregates and cement by:
• Driving more concrete use in the residential and commercial markets.
• Educating key decision makers about specifications.
• Engaging actively in codes and standards implementation.
• Leading new product adoption.
• Advocating and educating for acceptance of industry
sustainability initiatives.
COMMUNICATIONS
PACA can no longer be quiet. We must continue to defend and advocate for our life-sustaining products that build and connect our communities and drive economic growth for all.
