3 Scalar adverbs of frequency
Here are adverbs that express the degree of frequency. Note that あ(ん)まり and ぜんぜ
ん must be used with the negative predicate.
とてもよく very frequently; very well
よく frequently ときどき sometimes あ(ん)まり (not) too (frequently)
ほとんど hardly; almost
ぜんぜん (not) at all
1. とても よく 使います。
2. よく 使います。
3. ときどき 使います。
4. あ(ん)まり(よく) 使いません。 5. ほとんど 使いません。
6. ぜんぜん 使いません。
