1 The symbol ‘。’ marks the end of a sentence. Assign one full space for it, and place it on the lower left corner of the space.
The next sentence immediately follows, as in the following.
When using grids, if the last letter of a sentence falls on the last square of the line, place the period outside the margin as in the following.

2 The symbol ‘、’ marks a major break within the sentence. Do not use the English
comma ‘,’ for this.
