           MISSION QUALITY FIRST











































           Cultural change is only possible when people engaged at every level, consistently demonstrate quality principles in
           action. True culture of Quality in an organisation is an environment where people are walking the talk on quality,
           leaders are energizing their team by harnessing competitive spirit. After all Quality is a mindset that impacts
           everyone.
           The foundation of any quality improvement is to develop a quality mindset within the organisation and integrate
           it throughout the company. It is important for every employee in an organization to understand that quality is
           ‘everyone’s business’. Every employee needs to understand the impact of quality on his customer and organisation.
           The organisation will lead to excellence when we have people with a caring mindset giving utmost importance to
           quality.

           “Quality First” is the mindset of people where Quality has to be prioritised and kept above all requirements of the
           products, processes & services. Operational excellence is explained by the famous statement of Phil Crosby-

           “Do right things right first time and every time”
           The statement very well indicates that ‘Quality First’ mindset can lead to success of every individual and organisation.
           BHEL has adopted a policy on Quality which focuses on building a company wide culture of “Quality First” for
           which a Quality Roadmap “Mission Quality First” has been formulated and being implemented.
