THERE ARE OPPORTUNITIES IN ALL 4 BRANCHES FOR SERVICE LEAVERS TO JOIN THE ARMY RESERVE

Service Leavers will keep their rank and seniority on enlistment into the Army Reserve, where
INCENTIVES AVAILABLE
vacancies exist.
Available to ex-Regular Officers (Capts and below) and Other Ranks.
COMMITMENT BONUS* Worth up to £10,000.

A reduction in MTDs from 27 to 19 days for bounty eligibility.
A reduced MATTs requirement.
REDUCED COMMITMENT* A Relaxation of Call-out Liability. Ex-Regular personnel joining the Army Reserve will not be
obliged to fulfil their call-out liability (less for the circumstances
stipulated under JSP 516).

Serving Officers can enlist into the Army Reserve up to their 57th birthday.
AGE Serving Soldiers can enlist into the Army Reserve up to their 52nd birthday.
