 2 Signal Regiment

By Warrant Officer Class 2 Samantha Quinn
The Detachment, fully immersing ourselves in the hectic battle rhythm,
deployed on numerous exercises, participated in sporting endeavours
whilst making time for team cohesion.

 Operational Shooting Competition
 By Corporal Pratik Paiji
The training focused on the improvement and development
of operational combat marksmanship. We were taught
to effectively apply Marksmanship principles, introduced

variations of shooting positions, skills and techniques to
apply to actual match conditions. Competition week was
very competitive. The team secured first prize on the Fire

Team Falling Plates Match and second prize on the Fire Team
Combat Snap-Shooting Match. The team were also selected to
represent the Corps in the Inter-Corps Fire Team Falling Plates
Match. It was an excellent experience up to the very end and a
 fantastic opportunity.
