Irene Elsa Alexander - 8M bagged the Bronze Medal at Dubai
Junior International Badminton Tournament 2018 in the category Under 15 Girls – Singles. She also
won the Bronze Medal at the All India CBSE Nationals Badminton
tournament 2018 in the category Under 14 Girls. She won two Gold
Medals in the category Under 19 Girls in the Phoenix Yonex Gold Junior badminton Tournament and SPARC Yonex Gold Junior badminton Tournament held in UAE. As a part of the team event, she won a Gold Medal in UAE Badminton Cluster tournament 2018 in the category Under 14 –Girls and a Bronze Medal in the All India CBSE Nationals Badminton tournament 2018 in the category Under 14 – Girls. She was also Runner-up in Girls Singles Under 15 and Winner in Girls Doubles Under
17 in ABA Yonex Gold Junior badminton Tournament 2019.
Apsara Sivaprazad - 8G has launched her own campaign “FACE CANCER
WITH A SMILING FACE” and donated her hair for the second time in October 2018, during International
Breast Cancer Awareness Month. A promising singer, she participated in Zee Tamil’s ‘Sa Re Ga Ma Pa’, a reality
singing programme which aired in April – May 2018. Earlier she has participated in 2 other TV reality
shows, Sun Singer in Sun TV and Music Cat in Media One.
Jhanavi Ravi - 8I secured the Second Position in the Inter School Choral
Elocution. She also featured in the Gulf News for her contribution to the Kerala Flood Relief. An aspiring writer, her article was published in
Gulf News Students’ Corner.
Shika Arun - 8B secured 1st Position in the drawing and painting competition held by
Emirates Professional Training Institute. She also secured the 3rd Prize
in drawing and painting competition conducted by Malayala Manorama. She
participated in plein air drawing held at Abu Dhabi by The Ministry of Tolerance.
Shreepoorna - 8G participated in the Picasso Art Contest 2018. She was
awarded the title “Star Artist” – in the competition. She is among the 21 students of the age group 11-14
who won this award.
Anisha Ramchandani - 9Q is the winner at Ambassador School Tournament, GEMS Modern
Academy. She also participated in a dance competition at Fitness
First, Deira City Center and volunteered at India Club for the SNF
development center, Dubai.
Afia Shahid Shaikh - 9G has secured 3rd Place in Inter-House table tennis.
Afia is a brown belt in Karate and has acquired the 1st Position in Karate Kumite and Kata. She is the winner
of, GIC People’s Choice Awards, Kidpreneur Award, and BITS PILANI
science innovation Award. Also has attended the RIT Artificial Intelligence
Workshop and RIT C3 Dataletix Workshop.
Diya Janak Mer of - 9A won the First Position in the Hindi Declamation at
Zonal level. She also represented Dubai at National level conducted in Indian high school. She secured
the Second Position in the Inter- house English Elocution. She received
a silver medal in the Bhagavad Gita Shloka Chanting Competition. Diya is a
certificate holder of an online course conducted by Udemy for learning basic French.
Divyalakshmi Varadha Rajan Prem Sudha - 9A secured the Second
Position in drawing competition conducted by Al Noor Senter for Special Needs and Third Position in
drawing competition conducted by Talent Zone Arts Center and leading
Tamil newspaper Dhina Thanthi. The poem “Sea - An Epitome of Me”, written
by Divyalakshmi was published in Young Times. She represented The AI workshop held in Rochester Institute of Technology
as one of the Ambassadors. She has also completed several courses on the exponential technologies of the future, such as 3D printing, 3G Robotics Advanced, Arduino and App Inventor and participates enthusiastically in workshops to design and program her own Robots.
Hannah Varghese - 10E is doing her Trinity College of London, Vocal
Examinations under “Rock & Pop” Category, since 2017. She has completed her Initial Grade with a
perfect score of 100% in addition to being the topper in U.A.E. In her Grade 2 exam, she not only came out
with a Distinction, but also was the Topper in U.A.E. in that Grade. Recently, she completed Grade 3 exam
with 97%.
Aleena Rose Antony - 10J was titled as the 'Golden Artist' in the Picasso Annual International Water Color
Contest 2018. She participated in the BizWorld UAE Kidpreneur Award
2018 and was one of the top 10 finalists from UAE to present her idea to a panel of esteemed judges. She also
participated in the Children's International Film Festival 2018 and her movie was one of the official
selections. She secured Third Position in the Inter-House Table Tennis and First Position in the Inter-House Talent Contest for singing.
Ridhima Shivkumar - 10E secured First Position for 100m, 200m, High Jump and 4x100m Relay, Second Position
in Hurdles and Third Position in Long Jump, in the Interhouse
Athletic Meet 2018-19. She is the current Individual School Champion
in the Seniors Category. She has represented the school in the 26th
Inter-School Athletic Meet and secured Third Position in High Jump. She has also participated in the CBSE UAE CLUSTER MEET and secured First Position in 4x100m Relay and Second Position in High Jump. She has also represented UAE in the CBSE NATIONAL ATHLETIC MEET 2018-19 which was held in Davangere, Karnataka.
Soorya Gayathri Nair - 10D has achieved the People’s Choice Award
in the Global Innovation Challenge 2018 for her project titled ‘BREAKFAST BOX’ She also secured
First Position in AKGMA Youth Fest 2018 in Story Writing (Seniors).
