             Abstract
                    People travel on a daily basis and the different transport modes that they are using offer varying
             attributes. One mode can offer something another mode is not capable of. This study looks into the modes of
             transport in Marinduque, Philippines which include tricycle, jeepneys, habal-habal and private cars, and how
             they  differ  from  one  another  in  terms  of  the  attributes  comfort,  travel  time,  cleanliness,  safety  and
             connectivity. Through a comprehensive survey throughout the province, these attributes were compared with
             respect to the participants’ age, individual monthly income and highest educational attainment. The analysis
             showed that the residents in Marinduque generally rates the private car mode with high scores, while the
             “habal-habal” mode was rated the lowest. Safety and comfort were the main identifying attributes while
             cleanliness seemed to be less focused on by the commuters when picking a mode.
