On behalf of the advisory committee, we warmly welcome you to the 12 ATRANS Annual
Conference held in Bangkok, the City of Angles. This conference will be one for all participants to
share experience and knowledge gained from conducting research. You will have a very good
opportunity to share views and ideas with transportation professionals from various countries,
such as Bangladesh, India, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, the Philippines, Sri Lanka, Taiwan, Thailand,
and Vietnam. We have an exciting program at this conference that will allow participants to
reflect upon and celebrate our past accomplishments, renew friendships and extend our
networks, and jointly explore current and future research directions. We hope that you will have
a productive and fun‐filled time at this very special conference.

To put a conference of this magnitude together is not a small task. We would like to thank all
speakers, moderators, ATRANS members, AYRF committee, and behind-the-stage people, who
put a great effort and contribution to this magnificent conference. Lastly, we would like to thank
all of the conference participants for your contributions which are the foundation of this
