Hotel Terra is located within Entebbe, a town on a peninsula in Lake Victoria in Central Uganda. The lake is the second largest freshwater lake in the world.
The area’s attractions include the Kitubulu Forest and Beach for bird-watching enthusiasts, and the Entebbe Botanical Garden with a diversity of plant and bird species and monkeys. For entertainment, there is Lido Beach near Entebbe International Airport, with a mix of restau- rants and bars on its white sands. Nearby is the Ngamba Island Chimpanzee Sanctuary, which protects orphaned chimps.
