Hundreds turned up to watch the game
What the Vase game DID prove is that Raynes Park Vale are a team on
the up. That Stansfeld spotters were at our match with Horley Town a
few days before the cup tie to size up the RPV game-plan, that hundreds
turned up to watch the game at Grand Drive, that so many volunteers
came to ensure the day was a success and that Raynes Park was festooned
with posters for the game all demonstrated that Raynes Park Vale Foot-
ball Club are here to make an impression on the league.
