SHOUTING FROM THE STANDS

Last Saturday Doris and I were sat in the main stand at RPV enjoying the sun-
shine and sharing our tupperware box of of ginger nuts and and a packet of Tre-
bor mints while waiting for the match to start and we thought
we'd pass the time by going through the squad
list and seeing what celebrity the lads
reminded us of...well Doris had just

something that I can't repeat in a family programme and offered up Louie Cockle as

to be fair, one of the extra strong mints had made my eyes water at that point. Doris
tried to make a case for Danny Alderton as David Walliams but by this time the cans
of Vale Ale that she had slipped into her shopping trolley last week had started to
kick in and she would have thought that the chairman was an ex-male model in the
      right light.

By this time it was starting to get dark and everything was quiet at RPV. We checked
the fixture list by the light of Doris' Ronson lighter.

"We have to stop turning up here when the team are playing away", she said...
