oday we play host to Eversley & California at ‘The
TLane’ and a warm welcome awaits their players, offi-
cials and supporters.

It goes without saying that we need a result against Eversley & Cali-
fornia today. The Boars are currently languishing at the bottom of the
league, having only won one of their seven matches played so far, and
have conceded 18 goals. We’ll be hoping to exploit that leaky defence.
They’ll be hoping to stop the rot, so it could turn out to be a highly com-
petitive game.
The last couple of league games have been deeply frustrating, we’ve
played some good football, and against Cove we totally dominated the
game, but still came away pointless. Last week’s match against Bagshot
was more evenly matched, and to put a positive spin on it, you could say
we gained a point.
Hopefully, today will witness a turnaround, it’s still early in the season
and a good run of results will put us in the top half of the table again. We
have players with experience and the talent to win promotion this sea-
son, the finishing touch has deserted us in the last couple games when
that returns we’ll be in for a goal bonanza.
