an embarrassment for Raynes Park Vale. Yes, there was a great ready for today's game. We lost 5-0 but it gave a few new players
deal of provocation but, yet again, we have allowed our fantas- their first run out for the Vale against a good side on their own
tic team-spirit to be displayed in an all-for-one-and-one-for-all 3G pitch.
response to a team who's best hope, at that point in the game Into new territory
with ten minutes to go, was that the increasing number of attacks On to today and we welcome B & L FC. This is the furthest the
on the Croydon goal would not provide more of a lead than the Vale has gone in the competition so a win will take Josh, his team
comfortable 2-1 we already enjoyed. and the Vale into new territory. Hope to see you in bar after for
Squandered a comfortable lead a pint. Up the Vale!
At the time of writing the full outcome of this incident has yet to John Dalton
be seen but, whatever it is, it is clear that we have squandered a
comfortable lead in a match that RPV were in full control of. Chairman,

Well in last weeks programme I said lots had happened since
our last home game and Saturdays match did not disappoint.
After the Vale going one down v Croydon the Vale got back to
a 2-1 lead from 2 free kicks by Nez and Jordan with the Vale
pushing for a 3rd and playing good football. All hell broke loose
when Jordan was attacked in front of the home bench. After the
ref blowing his whistle for 8 minutes trying to break the teams
apart he decided to abandon the game. Not too much can be
said regarding this and the after game events, but I would like
to thank my colleagues behind the scenes at the club for being
totally professional. Not sure how both teams got 3 Reds each
but hey ho. We await to see if we will be awarded the points as
the ref informed me it was over the time to al-
low this. I won't hold my breath. I would like
to also thank the clubhouse staff that kept
every one fed and watered. On to Mon-
day to our Surrey cup clash with a full
Carshalton team v a Vale team that
were resting a few 1st teamers
