Well in last weeks programme I said lots had happened since
our last home game and Saturdays match did not disappoint.
After the Vale going one down v Croydon the Vale got back to
a 2-1 lead from 2 free kicks by Nez and Jordan with the Vale
pushing for a 3rd and playing good football. All hell broke loose
when Jordan was attacked in front of the home bench. After the
ref blowing his whistle for 8 minutes trying to break the teams
apart he decided to abandon the game. Not too much can be
said regarding this and the after game events, but I would like
to thank my colleagues behind the scenes at the club for being
totally professional. Not sure how both teams got 3 Reds each
but hey ho. We await to see if we will be awarded the points as
the ref informed me it was over the time to al-
low this. I won't hold my breath. I would like
to also thank the clubhouse staff that kept
