Finally! For the sake of justice and truth no blame
whatsoever should be placed on Islam when one finds
a Muslim woman whose rights have been violated. The
blame should be put on the shoulders of ignorance, tribal
customs and cultural traditions and practices; the neglect
and abandonment of Islamic Law by Muslims; and the
neglect of religious precepts in political, social and financial
institutions. This neglect has caused many tragedies upon
Muslims in general and Muslim women in particular.
