Guidelines & Notes

How to book Devon House: To have your dream wedding at Devon House is an
easy process! After reviewing our packages, we invite you to complete and
return the Event Information Request Form. A quotation will then be provided
and your date will be held for up to one (1) month. After reviewing the
quotation and viewing the venue, should you wish to book the date please
request a Venue Rental Agreement contract. The booking will be considered
confirmed when the contract is signed and a non-refundable 25% deposit is
made. Two (2) months before the wedding date, a further 25% deposit will be
required. Final payments are then due two (2) weeks before the event.

Coordination Surcharge: A 5% coordination surcharge is added to all prices
quoted. Public Holidays will attract a coordination surcharge of 25%. Please note
that we are closed on Christmas Day and Good Friday.

Damage Deposit: A 15% damage deposit is added to all prices quoted. This
deposit is refundable at the end of the event, except in the case of damage
and/or loss of Devon House property and/or equipment. There will be a storage
cost charged for items left over twenty-four (24) hours after the event has
ended.

Add-Ons: All add-ons are at an additional cost. A confirmation of the required
item(s) is required no later than two (2) weeks before your event. Also please
note that whereas Devon House can provide all decorations and catering for
your event, you are also allowed to hire outside vendors.

Venue Access: We provide clients with at least twelve (12) hour access to
facilitate set up and breakdown for your wedding. The time allotted for events is
as follows: two (2) hours for ceremony only, up to five (5) hours for reception
only, up to eight (8) hours for ceremony & reception. Event time overages will
incur an additional fee per hour. Breakdown is immediately after the event.
