If you want to learn more about the history of these three islands then a good place to start is at the Cayman Islands National Museum, located on
the George Town harbour front. The National Museum is a treasure trove of information, artifacts, art, exhibits and more and is actually housed in Cayman’s oldest public building, dating back to the 1800s, having been restored to its current impressive state.
The building has served, over time, as Cayman’s school, jail, court house, church and dance hall and has therefore earned itself a significant place in our history.
