 It’s like an All Black test match. Most of the time they’re doing things with more urgency and more speed than what other teams are doing it but without panic. If you look back at that golden era with Richie McCaw and the winning of two World Cups, when they stepped up the pace, other teams fell away. They just couldn’t handle the tempo! And the All Blacks always do it without panic. Even on rare occasions when they got behind on the scoreboard, they had the practice and belief in their processes to still win, often coming from behind in the last parts of the match by stepping the tempo up and not panicking.
So, what I encourage you to do is to do things with urgency but without panic. This needs to be inserted into the daily mindset of the company.
