down. Then there were the buying trips with my youngest daughter for an online business where we sourced products out of China. I was like a kid in a candy store. She had to slow me down. In reflection, now, I ask myself, why did I make those stupid buying decisions?
It’s when I started to slow down and apply some of the Paulisms in my book that we really started to go to a much higher level. Saying no to things, sticking to your knitting and applying the 80/20 rule are all things in this book that helped me to the next level. It does take a lot of discipline and it’s hard to say no at times. Don’t lose that entrepreneur spirit and drive, but take a breather before rushing into things that will affect the long-term picture.
Paulism: Slow down, strategise and make long-term, not short-term, decisions. A long-term, slower approach will enable you to reach those goals faster.
