Hearts of Gold Vintners' Lunch
Our July 2021 Hearts of Gold Vintners' Lunch was recognised by the Fundraising Institute of New Zealand at their annual awards ceremony with a “Highly Commended” Award. The award acknowledged excellence in the field of fundraising for a community event or initiative. The event raised over $300,000 on the day.
Farmers Christmas Appeal
The incredible teams at Farmers Queensgate and Upper Hutt raised an amazing $49,954 for our hospice during their annual Christmas Appeal. Across New Zealand Farmers teams raised more than $908,000. This is the eighth year that Farmers has raised funds for hospice. All of the funds raised in each community stay in that community to support the local hospice service.
Days of Care
We launched our Christmas Days
of Care campaign with tremendous support from local businesses and generous families gifting 14 days of care in December 2021. A donation of $1,500 covers the cost of a Day of Care for one patient offering a unique opportunity to support the care our patients receive.
