STUDENT PROFILE: JENNIFER GARCIA RUIZ
Fresno State has opened a world of opportunities for me. I was able to live and study in the Middle East for two semesters through the CSU International Programs --something that as a first genera- tion student I didn't even know was possible. Before Fresno State I had only been to one part of Mexico, so needless to say that this adventure changed my life and exposed me to new experiences. Through leadership roles with the Study Abroad Club and the His- panic Business Student Association (HBSA), I gained imperative career skills. I am so grateful for the opportunities Fresno State has provided me and I feel that I am prepared for graduate school and my career ahead.
