Summary
Microorganism Mycobacterium tuberculosis was and is today, one of the objectives
of study of many scientists. Credited with their complex morphology, resistance to
the usual drugs, its global spread is presented with a high prevalence in the poorest
countries and the increase in cases has become an emerging disease.
No doubt tuberculosis is one of the oldest and lethal diseases of history. "The
infection is transmitted from person to person through the air, when a sick person
coughs, sneezes or spits, expels tuberculous bacilli; just an individual to inhale a few
bacilli to become infected. It is estimated that one-third of the world's population have
latent tuberculosis; i.e. you are infected with the Bacillus, but still has not gotten sick
or can transmit the infection. Despite the progress, this condition is considered to be
a serious health problem; It is the second world cause of death caused by an
1
infectious agent, after AIDS" .
Climate change has a close relationship because it not only is a predisposing factor
for the infection, but is also related to the migration of different animals that may be
a reservoir of other diseases that cause an underlying pathology so It increases the
risk of infection. In addition to the above climate change may affect both socio-
economic and environmental levels in which people find themselves since not being
able to meet the basic needs and decrease their quality of life increases the risk of
not only tuberculosis but also many other infections.
