The masterplan regeneration proposal
for Warwick Road comprises two separate sites Broadwood Terrace (north) and Chesterton Square
(south). We propose reintegrating this development
into the broader neighbourhood community of streets and squares to provide good traditional homes in the “conserva- tion areas of the future”, as indicated by RBKC..
The main reintegration takes place at the level of the pub- lic realm. It will be mostly street-based integration with open spaces taking the form of squares and communal gardens with
commercial reactivation of Warwick Road and Pem- broke Road. The overall concept in terms of design, height and massing strongly reflects the local character and sense of place in order to reinte- grate with surrounding
neighbourhoods.
