The FCI World Dog Show (WDS) was held from Champion class dog – World Winner 2018 & BOS
August 10th - 12th in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. and Dutch Champion
The WDS 2018 was organized by the World Dog Excellent 1, CAC, CACIB
Show Association 2018 under the auspices of the
Dutch Kennel Club “Raad van Beheer“. The show Ch. Long Feng Captain Jack Sparrow
took place in the Rai Expo center in the heart of Sire: Ch. Chomania Cherie’s Cinnemax - Dam: Ch.
Amsterdam. Piuk Chow Missies Victoria

The Chow Chows showed on Sunday August, 12th. Sweden
We had in total 17,652 entries divided over 362
breeds/CACIB varieties. In our FCI group 5 (spitz Champion class bitch – World Winner 2018
and primitive types) there were 2,029 dogs entered Excellent 1, CAC, CACIB
(last WDS in Leipzig 2017, Germany, 2.846 dogs
were entercd in FCI group 5). Ch. Incipit Zha Zha Cunami
The Chow judge was Mrs. Angelika Kammerscheid- Breeder: Mrs. Stella Sorlie, Norway – Owner: Mrs.
Lammers from Germany, an International all breed Jolanta Taujeniene, Lithuania
judge.
65 Chow Chows were entered but only 50 Chows Veteran class dog – World Veteran Winner 2018
were present. Last year at the WDS Leipzig, Excellent 1, CAC, CACIB
Germany, 131 chows were entered and 107 Chows
were present. They do not separate the colors for our Ch. Honiland Exclusive Black Smooth
breed in the Netherlands. The biggest entries were in Sire: Paramount Stylish Smooth – Dam: Ch.
the puppy class bitches (9) and the champion class Honiland Grand Prix
dogs (also 9). Breeder & Owner: Mrs. Dr. Elena Shorina, Russia
The owners of the Chows came from 16 different
countries: Germany, the Netherlands, Denmark,
Lithuania, Russia, Sweden, Spain, Belgium, Junior class dog – World Junior Winner 2018 & best
Switzerland, Italy, Poland, Norway, Finland, Ukraine, junior
Serbia and Réunion (an island and region of France Excellent 1, Res. CAC
