Mama Gretchen is one of just a few
smooth Chow Chows to achieve a Bronze
Grand Championship. She was the only
smooth Chow at Westminster in 2019.
Her daughter Uma, a red rough, joined her
at the Garden in 2019, where they were the
only mother-daughter team in the Chow
ring! They were also some of the lucky
few to get their picture in the Wall Street
Journal. Uma has since gone on to attain
Grand Championship and Canine Good
Citizen titles!
Uma’s littermate, Bridget, another red
rough, took time off after getting her
championship to give birth to a litter of
puppies sired by Bardo’s top-winning
black smooth Chow, Damien. She is now
back in the ring and will soon achieve her
Grand Championship.
Lulu is Bridget and Damien’s daughter.
She is probably the only cinnamon smooth
Chow being showing in the USA. Even
though she is not a red rough, she is solid
and meets breed type. She is the daughter,
niece, and granddaughter of champions.
And it shows. She was pointed at her first
show at six months.
Look for these three generations of beauties in
shows this fall and into 2020!
(Bardo girls are watched from above by Judy Webb with Turbo and Damien by her side.)
All these girls are currently being shown.
Smooth/rough/red/cinnamon …..one line….all are breed type!
