Meet the Breed 2015

                   AKC/Eukanuba National Dog Show

                                                      Orlando, Florida

This event was a great success once again thanks to Mary Wuest and her assistants Barbara Becker, Christine
Green, Odalys Hayes, Pat Kennedy and Rhonda Prince in the planning, set up, and take down.
Our special thanks to the owners and exhibitors for sharing their beautiful Chow Chows for the public to meet,
pet, hug and take pictures with. At times our booth had a waiting line from the front and down the side to have
            this opportunity.
On Saturday, December 12, 20015 the public was greeted by Mary Wuest in the morning and the following:
Cathy Clapp and CCH CH Flamingstar Some Like it Hot “Marilyn” an in the afternoon were Monique and Bob
Danielle with “Meiling” and “Ming Toi” in their Christmas Outfits. The audience was stolen by these Chows
Chows as they were well received. Thank you for sharing these beautiful Chow Chows for the visitors to get to
know, pet, hug and even take pictures with. The smiles that they brought were endless.

In the afternoon Mary Wuest, Pat Kennedy hosted the booth with:
Pam and Robert Fehr with GCH Milin’s Emerson Tappin’ on the Bay CGC. Emerson stole the audience from
other breeds nearby. He dazzled the crowd and met them readily for petting, hugs (upon Pam’s approval) and
picture taking. How amazing you were Emerson as I too fell in love with you. Thank you for being a great model
of temperament for the Chow Chow and the long hours you spent greeting the public. Pam and Robert thank
you for answering all those questions and sharing Emmerson.
Sunday, December 13, 2015 the Meet the Breed booth was hosted by Mary Wuest and the following in the
            morning:
Amy Young and Paulo Clerice with “Jingles”, “Grey” and “Chris”. Once again the Chow Chow was the dog to see
and pet. Thank you for sharing your Chow Chows so the public could see how great having a Chow Chow can
            be.
The afternoon the booth was hosted by Mary Wuest and Pat Kennedy with following:
Odalys Hayes and her puppy girl “Lacy” who also stole the crowd’s attention from the nearby booths. Odalys
answered questions and taught the children how to greet any dog. “Lacy” shared hugs and kisses along with
picture taking most of the afternoon. She also was a model for the temperament of the Chow Chow.
Thank you to everyone and their Chow Chows along with those who assisted for making the “Meet the Breed
Booth” the success it was. Your sharing taught the public once again how loving the Chow Chow can be and a
model pet. Plans are already being made for 2016 so get ready to meet the public.
