Living life One Step At A time Ann Holmgren
“I’d give anything if I could relive my childhood again”. I am honoring my grandma, Ann Holmgren because I can always turn to her for anything, she’s a kind-hearted person, loyal, and supports me and everyone in everything.
Ann Holmgren was born in Sedro-Woolley, Washington on August 11th, 1953. She grew up on a farm with lots of horses and many more animals. As A child Ann was spoiled by her dad and brothers. They always watched after her and took care of her. About every day for Ann was on the back of a horse, training unbroke horses and riding 24/7. As an adult, Ann enjoys doing hair, working in the refinery, working on cars, and working in the canneries. Her favorite job is doing hair, she has her own hair salon. This is her favorite job because she met some of her closest friends in the salon and because she’s an amazing hairdresser. Today the average day for Ann is to “get through one day at a time” quoted from Ann. She loves helping people, she's always running everyone around and doing things for them when they don't have enough time to it.
Something special about this person is that she's always moving, never a moment is wasted with her, yes when you're shopping with her she can take longer than others, but it's worth it because she's such a great person to be around. She’ll stop whatever she's doing, just to be there or help with whatever you need. In her heart, there is nothing but pure goodness. Her one wish for the world is “Peace. No more Wars. End violent, I want everyone to love one another”.
This person has impacted my life because she's helped me greatly in riding horses, sports, just about anything that I need help in, she’s the first person I'll call. She is very special because she's a great person, she means so much to me and because she's very smart and an intelligent person. Though my grandma lives in Arizona, she has a motorhome here in Washington and comes and visits up for about 2 months every once in awhile. It's kinda nice that she lives in Arizona because I love going down there and because I get to get out of Washington and to another state. She has a really nice hot tub and pool, she’ll have a whole bunch of family come down at once and we’ll have a big get together. Ann’s advice for everyone is “If you ain’t laughin, you ain’t living”.
I am honoring this person because she has impacted my life greatly and because she means a lot to me. I wouldn't have some of the things I have today. Thank you for letting me honor such an amazing person.
