President’s Message

The Parade of Homes is GSABA’s signature consumer event. It’s an
opportunity for our Builder and Associate members to showcase the
latest products, new home features and, the newest architectural
and interior design trends. Each year, the Parade of Homes
attracts thousands of consumers to view the best of the best in the
homebuilding industry in the San Antonio area. In 2017, Parade of
Homes Chairman Dominick Alongi along with his committee and the
GSABA staff organized one of the most successful Parade of Homes
at the Canyons at Scenic Loop.
I would like to take this opportunity to personally thank Jay and
Charlie Patterson along with David McCumber and his sales team
for their efforts in making the 2017 Parade of Homes a big success!
Wayne Moravits We could not have put on an event of this magnitude without the
President support of our presenting partners, CPS Energy, Home Depot and
the North Park Family of Dealerships. Date Night was hosted by the
North Park Family of Dealerships who sponsored the sweepstakes to
give-away a brand-new 2017 Volkswagen Jetta to one lucky Parade
of Homes attendee.
Hollywood-Crawford Door Co., Security Service Federal Credit
Union, Jones|Carter and USAA were also participating partners for
the 2017 Parade of Homes – thank you all for your support of our
signature event.
We recently announced the site of the 2018 Parade of Homes in
Johnson Ranch. Johnson Ranch DHJB Development will partner with
GSABA to host an informational meeting on Tuesday, August 15th at
10:30am at the Association. Charlie Hill of Johnson Ranch will answer
questions and provide information on how to be part of the 2018
Parade of Homes. This one-hour meeting will provide information
on the community amenities and the broad-based marketing and
advertising campaign.
