our mid-year break!
ummer is here and it’s time for bar-b-ques, pool time, and
family vacations. July is our month to spend time with family
S and friends….time to step back from the daily stresses at
work. The Association has cancelled most of its July meetings in
appreciation of our members. The Executive Committee, Board of
Directors, Membership, and Government Affairs Committee meetings
will resume in August.
We have had an incredible year thus far with many successful
networking events and highly attended education classes. Our
Membership and Government Affairs Committees have members
who are passionate and committed to our Association year-round.
These two committees are the heart of the Association. Thank you,
Committee Members, for your time and continued support.
The Saltwater Fishing Tournament in Port Aransas was a huge hit
with a record of 54 boat entries. Special thank you to JP Hart Lumber
Company for grilling delicious ribeye steaks and providing meals for
over 250 fishermen and women. Superstar Chairman Gilbert Sanchez
and the Fishing Committee -- were our “Biggest Catches” of the event!
The 2017 Summit Awards will be held on Saturday, July 29th at
The Omni Hotel at the Colonnade. This year’s theme is “An Evening
to Remember”. Tickets can be purchased at www.sabuilders.com.
Following the awards presentation, get ready to dance the night
away at the Eagle After Party.
