Annual Military Thanksgiving Luncheon

Once again, we have the opportunity to share Thanksgiving with the soldiers
who are away from home for the holidays - often for their first time.
GSABA & Building Believers need your help with donations and volunteers to
make this year’s Military Thanksgiving Luncheon a special one for the troops!
Items needed by November 6 th
175 large gift/canvas bags, tissue paper, ribbon, plus items to fill them,
175 Christian books, tablets, pens, pencils, personal toiletry items, playing cards,
stationery, packaged snacks, cookies, and candy
Non-perishable items may be delivered to the GSABA oices by November 6, 2017
or brought to any Building Believers meeting.
Items needed by November 9 th
Paper goods - 200 coee cups, 12 rolls of paper towels, dish soap, Clorox wipes,
50 disposable foil pans (large), 3 large rolls heavy duty foil, 3 boxes gallon-size storage bags,
700 sandwich size bags, 300 short clear cups for fruit salad and desserts (cocktail size),
3 boxes of gloves (food handling quality, LG & XL)
1 large can regular coee 12 gallons Peanut Oil
1 small can decaf coee 16 Large (101 oz) cans of cut green beans
300 Sugar packets 32 cans of Cream of Mushroom soup
300 artificial sweetener packets 12 cans Fried Onion Rings
Marshmallows - 10 bags 1 can spray ‘Pam’
Brown Sugar - 10 lbs
Items needed by November 17 th
250 lbs. ice, 300 bottles of water, 25 - 1 gallon jugs of water
Thanksgiving Desserts – Pies and Cookies
Monetary donations are needed to purchase: 8 honey baked or smoked hams, fresh fruit, rolls, perishable cooking ingredients
for mashed potatoes, gravy, cranberry sauce, items for gift bags, napkins, plates, cups, table décor, linen cleaning.
