⚫ Judgment writing at its simplest is an attempt to communicate…A
judgment that does not communicate is a failed judgment, no matter how
learned or gracefully phrased.
⚫ We should do what we can to make the law clear and accessible to our
readers. The law is, perhaps, the most important example of how words
affect people’s lives.
