 Are you sure that W, X and Y did not put their heads together to make false

accusations against the defendant?”

 If you are not sure of that, the evidence of X and Y is of no value, and you

must ignore it.

 If you are sure that there was no collaboration of that kind, you are entitled to

consider the evidence of X and Y in deciding whether W was speaking the

truth.
