I hear this question a lot from my generation: “What is life about?” The answer is
easy. It’s about collection of experiences, creating opportunities and memories
for yourself and your family.

Sometimes we must admit that we should be doing more with our lives. Too
often we follow the crowd instead of pursuing our own goals. We worship the
masses instead of our hope and dreams. The Creator didn’t intend for any of us
to blindly follow the crowd. I strongly believe that we all are born with gifts and
talents to make our mark on life. It’s your life. Take charge.

Some of you may have already started; but believe me, you are only scratching
the surface of what you capable of accomplishing when you really put your mind
to it. Just go forward with courage to reach for your dreams, whatever it takes
and whatever happens along the way, with patience and persistence. It’s real
important that you take the time to understand the real priorities in your life,
and you’ll be able to determine the right direction for you and your life.

Be strong, tenacious and resilient in your journey. It takes total commitment
because when you don’t want to do something, you can never achieve it.

In 1975, there was a movie, Mahogany, starring Diana Ross as Tracy Chambers,
a struggling fashion design student who rises to become a popular fashion
designer in Rome. The title songs lyrics, “Do You Know”, are worth listening to.
If you have not heard this song please listen to it. It’s talking to you on your
direction in life. Do you know?
