PROCEDURES FOR DISSEMINATING THE VISION, MISSION, GOALS AND/OR
OBJECTIVIES OF THE INSTITUTION
The following are the activities done by the Campus to ensure that the vision, mission, goals and
objectives of the institution and all its units are well disseminated to various stakeholders.
A. FOR STUDENTS

1. Orientation Program for 1 year and New Students

At the start of every semester, the campus regularly conducts orientation program for 1
year and new students. A program required to all transfer and first year students to help
them prepare for their transition into college life as well as the challenges, opportunities,
and expected output and performance that lies for them. The discussion of the vision,
mission, goals, objectives, and policies of the University is included in the activity.
2. Flag Ceremony
Pursuant to Section 18 of RA No. 8491, otherwise known as the Flag and Heraldic code
of the Philippines, all government offices and educational institutions are required to
participate in the observance/conduct of flag raising ceremonies every Monday morning
and lowering of flag every Friday afternoon. In view of this, the institution requires all
faculty members and students with 7:00 a.m. classes to attend the flag raising ceremony.
Likewise, each department unit are assigned a schedule to be in-charged of the flag
raising and lowering.
3. Student Handbook, ID, Bulletin Boards, other Printed, Electronic and Media Materials
A printed copy of the institution’s vision and mission are on display in every rooms and
offices in the campus. Likewise, printed materials such as letterheads, handbook,
manuals, invitations, programs for various school activities bear the institution’s vision and
mission.
4. Clearance
Prior to the signing of clearance of students at the end of every semester, department
heads and registration will ask first the student to recite the University’s Vision and Mission
and singing of CvSU Hymn.
5. Seminars/Training
At random, during seminars and trainings, students may be asked to recite the vision,
mission, tenets, goals and objectives. The department head or unit head or the host of the
event make sure that the vision and mission is printed in the invitation, programs and
hand-out to be distributed to the attendees.
6. OJT
Before the start of the OJT of students, the campus conducts re-orientation to students.
The OJT Coordinator and OJT adviser re-orient them of the vision, mission, tenets, goals
and objectives of the institution and remind them to set examples and act according to
their statements.
