IV. BEST PRACTICES
➢ The Maintenance and Repair Units members are competent and promptly
attending the need of campus in terms of technical services.
➢ The Department accepts on-the-job trainees from Certificate of Computer
Technician and Bachelor of Science in Information Technology programs
and Senior High School ICT and TVL strands. OJTs are mentored and
trained by the IT faculty on various technical services on keeping and
maintaining computer laboratory.
➢ Storage areas are clean, well lighted and appropriate labelled
➢ Tools and equipment are properly labelled and free from dust.
➢ Glassware are placed in a cabinet with glass door.
➢ Electrical maintenance, roof and window repair, installation of equipment,
water supply maintenance and other repair services are done periodically
or as necessary.
➢ The cleanliness of the laboratory rooms is maintained by the utility
personnel every day.
➢ The campus coordinator assigned faculty members room in-charge in every
rooms and laboratory to take supervision on the observing cleanliness and
monitoring tools and equipment.
➢ Students were tasked to maintain the cleanliness of their working are during
their classes.
➢ The spirit of bayanihan is evident among students and faculty members
during the field days and semestral break clean up drive. The League of IT
Leaders Organization always initiate and volunteer to
maintain/improve/clean the computer laboratory room.
