                                   Boxed Eaves

                        Boxed eaves have a flat, horizontal soffit
                        surface instead of a soffit that follows the
                        underside of the rafter ends. Boxed eaves can
                        either extend out to the gable fascia or build
                        flush with the adjacent exterior wall.
