                                (2) Information obtained by or on behalf of the Attorney
                           General in connection with the exercise of any of the Attorney
                           General’s functions which are not functions under, or in relation
                           to, any Part of this Act may be used by the Attorney General in
                           connection with the exercise of any of the Attorney General’s
                           functions under, or in relation to, any Part of this Act.

                                (3) Information obtained by or on behalf of a constable in
                           connection with the exercise of any functions of a constable under
                           any Part of this Act may, with the consent of a police officer of at
                           least the rank of inspector, be used in connection with the exercise
                           of any other functions of a constable (whether under, or in relation
                           to, another Part of this Act or otherwise).


                                (4) Information obtained by or on behalf of a constable in
                           connection with the exercise of any functions of a constable which
                           are not functions under, or in relation to, any Part of this Act may,
                           with the consent of a police officer of at least the rank of inspector,
                           be used in connection with the exercise of any functions of a
                           constable under, or in relation to any Part of this Act.

                                (5) Information obtained by or on behalf of a customs officer
                           in connection with the exercise of any functions of a customs officer
                           under any Part of this Act may, with the consent of a customs officer
                           who is not below such grade as is designated by the Collector of
                           Customs and Excise as equivalent to a police officer of at least the
                           rank of chief inspector, be used in connection with the exercise of any
                           other functions of a customs officer (whether under, or in relation to,
                           another Part of this Act or otherwise).


                                (6) Information obtained by or on behalf of a customs
                           officer in connection with the exercise of any functions of a
                           customs officer which are not functions under, or in relation to,
                           any Part of this Act may, with the consent of a customs officer
                           who is not below such grade as is designated by the Collector of
                           Customs and Excise as equivalent to a police officer of at least
                           the rank of chief inspector, be used in connection with the exercise
                           of any functions of a customs officer under, or in relation to any
                           Part of this Act.

                                (7) This section applies to information obtained before the
                           coming into operation of the section as well as information
                           obtained after the coming into operation of the section.



               Disclosure of  211. (1) Information which is held by or on behalf of a permitted
               information in  person (whether or not it was obtained before or after the coming
               connection
               with the    into force of this section) may be disclosed to —
               exercise of
               functions
                                  (a) the Attorney General, for the purpose of the exercise of
               P2002/29/436           the Attorney General’s  functions under this Act;
