9.7 Environmental and occupational Safety Issues
MB Tyre and Auto Centre will put in place health and safety policies regarding the correct handling
machines, equipment and tools; although there are no known hazards regarding the proper handling,
storage and transport of machines, equipment, tools and cleaning products that will be used by the
business.
The business will conform to the specifications of the Occupational Health and Safety Act (85
of 1993), as well as those of the Occupational and Environmental Health Act of 1977, where
applicable.
9.8 Raw Materials
Raw materials that will be used by MB Tyre and Auto Centre in the service provision process entails
tyres and ancillary products

MB Tyre and Auto Centre's raw materials and finished goods will be bought directly from suppliers.
9.9 Labour
MB Tyre and Auto Centre employ the owner, as well as employees responsible for fitting and
supply of quality tyres and servicing
Four people will work at the business during the week,
Prior experience and references will serve as distinguishing qualifications for the employment
positions but are required since the work is skilled
MB Tyre and Auto Centre must conform to the requirements of the Basic Conditions of Employment
Act, as well as to other relevant labour legislation.
MB Tyre and Auto Centre's labour force and compensation system for the first year of operation will
be structured as shown in the table that follows:
