QLD LIGHTNING CARNIVAL FIXTURE
TEAM OVERVIEW
Queensland have selected sixteen players and a further three emergencies following state trials held in May. This year’s team has a very even spread of talent and will be the youngest team Queensland has sent to the National carnival. None of the team have ever been to Tasmania and they are looking forward to what will be a great carnival and a wonderful sporting experience
State Multicultural & Indigenous Engagement Manager, Darren Allie, was pleased by the level of talent who trialled for the selected Queensland squad.
“It has been a very difficult process to select the team, especially with players that have represented Queensland in the past who haven’t made the team due to the depth of talent who trialled in 2018,” Allie said.
