Junior State Cup

The 2016 Junior State Cup was the
biggest in the tournament’s history, RESULTS
with more than 3500 players
competing in 213 teams from Under 10 Girls Under 16 Girls

Junior State Championships

The Sunshine Coast hosted the 2016
Junior State Championships, welcoming RESULTS
more than 500 of the state’s best
young players to the Glasshouse Under 12 Boys Under 14 Girls
Mountains. The South Queensland CQ Bulls 12 d SQBD Sharks 3 BC Cobras 7 d CQ Bulls 4
Sharks continued their dominance of
the event, claiming the Shuker-Williams Under 12 Girls Under 16 Boys
Regional Championship title for the SQBD Sharks 5 d CQ Bulls 3 SQBD Sharks 11 d CQ Bulls 3
fifth consecutive year. Under 14 Boys Under 16 Girls
NQ Cyclones 6 d SWQ Swans 3 BC Cobras 9 d SQBD Sharks 4
From the event, 80 players were
invited to attend the Queensland
Junior Development Camp, run by
Performance and Pathways Manager
Peter Bell. A junior elite referees squad
was also selected to attend the camp.
