DIRECTOR'S REPORT

The directors submit the financial report of Queensland Touch Association for the financial year ended 31 December 2016.

Directors
The names of the directors throughout the year and at the date of this report are:

• Troy Morgan
• Peter Tong

Principal Activities
The principal activities of the association during the financial year were: Administration of Touch Football in Queensland.

Operating Result
The surplus after providing for income tax for the 2016 financial year amounted to $12,513 (2015: 94,969)

Significant Changes
In 2016, Queensland Touch Association purchased two commercial competitions, Premier Touch and City Touch. The
competitions are 100% owned and operated by QTF. The acquisition solidifies the sport's position in the Brisbane market
adding more than 850 teams and 10,000 participants to the sport. The competitions will provide a new and diverse revenue
stream ensuring the ongoing viability of the organisation. The profits generated by these competitions will be invested back
into the sport to ensure benefits are provided to all our members.
