Double overhand







  This is a beefier knot than the regular overhand (see page 292), and is used when more bulk is

  needed at the end of a line.


  Start with a loop in the end of the line, and pass the working end through the loop once, then pass
  the end through a second time (1). Pull the working and standing ends apart to tighten the knot (2,
  3).
