ABOUT THE JACKIE ROBINSON FOUNDATION

The Jackie Robinson Foundation (JRF) is a national, nonprofit organization founded in 1973

by Rachel Robinson to perpetuate the memory of her husband by promoting education.
The Foundations college scholars program provides generous four-year grants, extensive

mentoring, and leadership development opportunities to talented college students with limited
financial resources. JRF Scholars have achieved a consistent, nearly 100% graduation rate.

JRF Impact, an online platform piloted in 2019, shares elements of JRFs college mentoring
curriculum with a broader student population across the country.

In 2020, with the establishment of the Jackie Robinson Museum, the Foundation will expand
its mission by educating and inspiring the general public around the ideals and values that

define the lives and legacies of Jackie and Rachel Robinson.
