Emma Hawkins-Haile
Head of our Risk Management, Emma Hawkins-Haile has over 16 years experience as a financial services headhunter, the last 10 of which have been focused on Risk Management hires internationally at CRO and direct report level across all areas of financial services. She has worked as a Consultant at some of the very best global executive search firms and set up Hawkins Haile in 2009. Emma was until recently the Co Regional Director of one of the largest Professional Risk Management Organisations, PRMIA, which she remains on as steering committe member resposible for the CRO Speaker Programme. Her most recent search work has occurred in Continental Europe, the Nordic Region, London and New York. She considerable experience in cross border search and relocation.
Historically Emma ran Gravitas EMEA one of the top leadership development organisations in the UK and has over 3000 hours leadership coaching experience at Vice President to Board Director level and has worked on large scale team transformation projects. During this period she worked for a variety of corporate and governmental organisations. This enables her to assess candidates not only in terms of their functional attributes but also their leadership and communication skills and if needed assist with future development.
Emma is frequently asked to speak publically and has done so on Bloomberg TV, the BBC, the Financial News, The Banker, Risk Magazine, for Universities and a variety of internal bank talent pool town halls. Topics have included, the role of the CRO, transitioning into the CRO Role and how to do so, how we develop individuals on the CRO path and matters of reward and banking generally.
