SkyCity is a name synonymous with Auckland and is regarded as the premium entertainment
destination in Auckland’s CBD. Boasting a world-class casino, a selection of restaurants and bars,
two hotels, and of course the iconic landmark that is the SkyTower, it is one of the most recognisable
brands in New Zealand.
The Grand by SkyCity is a 5-star hotel nestled high above the bustling night life of the city. With 312
rooms, The Grand is a place of understated luxury that combines opulence and elegance. Offering a
selection of room types, many with expansive views over Auckland City, and the renowned East Day
Spa which has been crowned Oceania’s Best Hotel Spa, The Grand by SkyCity truly encompasses the
meaning of premium accommodation.
The 4-star SkyCity Hotel offers 323 rooms and positions itself as a high-end hotel without reaching
the premium standard of The Grand. As a part of the SkyCity complex, it provides direct access to the
casino, restaurants & bars, and the SkyTower. Many of the modern and spacious rooms offer views
of Auckland and a superb range of facilities, from 24-hour room service and multilingual staff, to
executive car service and access to East Day Spa.
PARTNERSHIP OVERVIEW
Impressed by the results achieved for Accor, SkyCity was intrigued by Traff1k™’s new offering,
Hel1um® HyperZone, and commissioned it for SkyCity Hotel. The goal here was to increase walk in
traffic and direct phone call inquiries, with the primary objectives being an increase in direct revenue
and a revenue shift from OTA’s.
SkyCity had an existing partnership with TravelClick, the company which developed their website and
completes SEO and paid marketing, however as there was no conflict with their offerings, Hel1um®
HyperZone was able to run in tandem with TravelClick’s services.
