OVERVIEW
Founded in 1976, L’OCCITANE is one of the world’s foremost international retailers of body, face,
fragrances and home products - the majority of which is sourced from ingredients locally cultivated
and traditionally produced in France. The idea was to create a company that celebrates and preserves
the natural beauty traditions of Provence, Southern France.
L’OCCITANE has grown spectacularly to encompass retail outlets in over 90 countries across North
America, South America, Europe, Asia, Australia and Africa; with 170 outlets in the United States alone.
